University of Texas 2017 Commencement

On May 5th I defended my PhD thesis (I’ll write some posts about my thesis eventually). And on May 20th we had the Commencement Ceremony. I had the honor to be the PhD student presenting remarks during the ceremony. Above there is a video of it.

NYU Center for Data Science

On June 1st I joined the NYU Center for data Science as a Moore-Sloan Research Fellow. I also have an appointment with the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU through the Algorithms and Geometry Simons Collaboration. I am very excited to work with the incredibly talented people of the MaD group.
